Football Manager enters into a settlement agreement

Nicky Forster, the former manager of Dover Athletic has settled with the club after a dispute over his employment

The former Brentford striker and the club were reportedly close to an Employment Tribunal hearing.

The club had put him on gardening leave with 15 months of his contract still after a run of five straight losses.

Neither the club or Forster would comment on the settlement agreement indicating the use of a confidentially clause.

In fact the former employee was quoted as saying “I’m not allowed to say anything to press as part of the agreement”.

This suggests the use of both confidentially and non derogatory clauses as part of some form of settlement agreement.
